As a supporter of the American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign and its parent organization, Return to Freedom, I wanted to personally invite you to join me in asking Interior Secretary Sally Jewell to "step in" to protect wild horses!

Wendie Malick

It is critically important for us to get the attention of the new secretary early in her tenure. That is why I and my co-stars and friends Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Laura San Giacomo have signed on and wholeheartedly support the STEP IN SALLY Campaign!

But we've still got a lot of work to do to reach our goal of 30,000 signatures. You can help us get one name closer to that goal by signing the letter right now.

Last week's NBC News investigative report is a clear sign that the wild horse issue is becoming a national one. Let's make the very most of this opportunity by getting as many people who are with us to sign the "Step In, Sally" letter.

Take the first step and add your name today.

When Return To Freedom launched the AWHPC in 2004, it was with the intent to create a unified voice and a strong grassroots base to advocate for solutions to protect wild horses and burros on our public lands in the West. Today, we are a powerful voice for change.

Please stay tuned for more updates on the StepinSally.com initiative, and thank you for everything you do.
