Because of your support, today we passed 11,000 signatures on our petition calling on President Obama to appoint Rep. Raul Grijalva as the next Interior Secretary.
This is a great showing in just a few days but now we need to keep the momentum going.
Can you ask five friends to sign the petition, tweet, or post a share graphic on Facebook?
We know that Rep. Grijalva's nomination to Interior would be a big win for America's wild horses and burros, and our public lands, and a huge defeat for special interests. On Friday, NBC News reported that Grijalva was the "early favorite" among potential nominees for the position.
And today, Fmr. Congressman Dennis Kucinich also announced his support. We don't know when President Obama will announce his choice, but we do know that now is the time to keep the pressure on the Administration.
Will you help us in spreading the word and gaining even more signers to our petition?
